San Diego Habitat for Humanity is rehabilitating a detached single-family home at 650 East Madison, El Cajon (92020). Volunteers are needed to assist with demolition (1st week), painting, plumbing, fencing, gardening and other light construction tasks.
The shift is from 8:15 am – 3:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch break from 11:30 am – noon. Please bring your own lunch. Tools, gloves and materials will be provided.
We are opening up the project to volunteers on Tuesday, July 19 and it will close on Wednesday, September 14 if all goes as planned. You may volunteer for one day or more but we ask that you commit to the entire shift (8:15 am – 3:30 pm).
