India Program Looking for a Licensed Water Engineer!
Are you a licensed professional engineer with 7 years of experience in water treatment and interested in traveling to India this summer to help bring clean water to 1000s of people? Do you know someone who might me?
The EWB San Diego Professional Chapter is looking for a professionally licensed engineer with 7 years of experience in water treatment to travel to India with our Team this summer. India Program Fundraiser "Turning Beer Into Water! Wait, What?!"Come help support the Engineers Without Borders India Water Purification Program by drinking some delicious beer and hanging out with friends at Fall Brewing Company at 4542 30th St, 92116 in North Park on Saturday, May 2nd from 12:30pm to 3:00pm!
$1 of every beer (normal pricing) will go 100% to providing clean water to the 5000 people of Chakicherla Pedda Patapu Palem, a fishing village on the coast of Andhra Pradesh, India that was devastated by the famous 2004 tsunami.

The India Program is currently in need of a licensed Construction Engineer with 5 years of industry experience and a desire to travel to India and work on the creation of new housing structures for some very needy people! Come to a Meeting
- Chapter and project meetings are open to anyone. The meeting schedules and locations are located in the right side bar. Come join the discussions and hear the latest updates on our projects.
- Becoming an EWB Professional Member is easy and only costs $100 per year. Signing up helps support the projects and makes you eligible to travel on project site visits.
- Only Members can travel, but all volunteers are welcome to help make the project a success. You don’t have to be an engineer to contribute! Even if your background is in business, marketing, journalism, health, education, or another field, you can put your skills to work on any of our projects.
- If you know of a community in need, come and share your information with our Chapter. You can find more information on the project proposal process here.
